* SI WAXINATION:
SI = selective impregnation plastination. Two or more vacuum impregnation cycles and the use of at least two different polymers for a much better tissue contrast compared to conventional plastination.
WAXINATION = plastination polymers are partially replaced by paraffin wax. Besides a signifacnt cost reduction this results in even more realistic visualisation of anatomical surface structures than by S10 silicone plastination.
